Where can I stay overnight in Aachen?

The City Hotel Stolberg is Scheunentraum’s partner hotel and offers guests discounted rates.
How do I get to the Seescheune?
You can come by car, taxi, or bus. The bus line 27 from Aachen's central bus station (Bushof) stops at Debyestraße – from there it is only a short walk to the venue.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the venue. Please follow signs and staff instructions on the day of the event.
How do I get back to the hotel at night?
From the stop Königsberger Straße (Polizeipräsidium), night buses run towards the city center. More information can be found here. Alternatively, you can also use a taxi or Uber.
Celebration & program
How is the civil wedding ceremony organized?
The civil wedding ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. at Aachen City Hall. Due to limited space, the ceremony will be held in a small family circle. All other guests are welcome to greet us in front of City Hall - or we look forward to seeing you in the evening at the Seescheune!
When does the evening program start? What is the best time for me to arrive?
The wedding celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a champagne reception.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code. Wear something that makes you feel good and comfortable — and maybe bring shoes for dancing!
What kind of gift should I bring?
Your presence is the greatest gift! If you still wish to give us something, we would be happy to receive monetary gifts.
What kind of food will be served at the wedding?
Just wait and see! We have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. If you have additional dietary requirements (e.g. allergies), please let us know in advance.
Can I bring a +1?
Your partner is welcome as well! Please don't forget to let us know in advance if someone is accompanying you. You can do so via the RSVP form.
What about children?
Children are also welcome, of course! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
By when do I need to RSVP?
Please let us know by 1 August whether you will be attending our wedding. You can do so via the RSVP form.
Can I share the photos I take at the wedding?
